How to Be in Good Health

Happiness is meaningless if one is not healthy. Tons of wealth cannot be enjoyed if one has not good health. Millionaires find life a burden if health has bid a goodbye to them. They just breathe but do not live. Sick people smile. is not that they are enjoying life. They simply want to forget their misery.

It is not difficult to keep health but for that we have to follow laws of health. If they are flouted the god of health will leave us out-of anger.

One, we must have nutritious food. It does not mean a rich food but a balanced diet. Excess of everything is bad. A glutton can never be healthy.

Two, we must take bodily exercise. Desk-workers have no alternative. Idea is to keep different parts of our body in working condition. If we cannot afford a gym, it does not mean we can never keep health. Important is to keep our body active and moving.

Three, we must inhale fresh air as far as possible. Our houses should be well ventilated. We must keep in our mind the slogan—Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. We must avoid oversleep and under sleep. Sound sleep guarantees good health. If we get up early in-the morning and go out in the lap of natural nature or cultivated one, we will get fresh air, the most important ingredient for good health.

Four, do not sit idle. If you have no work, this world is full of needy persons who want your help and guidance. Do something for them. Remain active.

Five, never indulge in continuous work. Proper rest is indispensable to keep health.

Six, we must not pick up bad habits. We should refrain from smoking and drinking, drugs and bodily pleasures. They tell upon our health.

Seven, relentless pursuit of materialistic gains should be checked. Desires should be minimized to the maximum. Unfulfilled desires cause tension and depression and they never allow one to keep health.

Moderation in life is the key to health.
