Sex-Education

Ignorance is a curse for the mankind. An ignorant person lives a miserable life and dies a miserable death. Just imagine the condition of the woman, who is tortured by her cruel husband and she doesn’t know how to defend her rights. She keeps on tolerating his atrocities and encourages the criminal tendency in him. She is neither able to live peacefully in this world, nor die a peaceful death. Thus, her ignorance about her rights leads her to pathetic condition, the same way ignorance of sex matters too is a curse for the children.

When the children are not provided knowledge about sex, they become curious to know about it. Thus, they indulge in physical relationships in their childhood and lose their innocence at such a tender age.

Imparting sex-education to the school-going children can make them sensible and wise. If they are given knowledge about sex in the school, then, they would no more remain eager about the whole thing and thus would not indulge in physical relationships. It’s not that everyone shall become sensible, but 90% would definitely attain intelligence with the knowledge gained about sexual matters, and thus, would not lose their character by having sex before marriage.

The children should be given sex-education in the school and they should be told about the consequences of having sex with person other than own life partner.

They must be explained that those people who have pre-marital or extra-marital relations are called, ‘Characterless’ and are not respected in the society. A cheap girl is insulted by men and a flirtatious man is disliked by decent women.

Woman should not lose their grace and the men must not lose their dignity. We ought to be faithful to our life-partners, how much ever do we get attracted to opposite sex. We must control our desires and remain true to our life partners only, then can we lead a respectful life.

Children are demanding it, so are psychiatrists and counsellors. If a methodical informal sex education programme still awaits inclusion in the school curriculums, blame it on the parents, politicians and teachers, who seem rigidly opposed to the concept of bringing sex out of the closet of the classroom.
