Leisure in France
For a first time visitor, there is no leisure in the leisure of France. There is so much to see in this beautified country and so much to experience that you end up packing in so much in a day, that the leisure factor reduces but the pleasure factor is sky high!
Paris in itself has so much to offer that it would not be wrong to dedicate a whole holiday to this dream capital city of France. For the history enthusiast the splendors of Paris are its monuments and museums which include Arc de Triomphe, Musee duLouvre, Muses d’Orsay, Cite des Science ct d’Industrie, Notre Dame, Le Sacre Coeur, La Sainte Chapelle and the impressive Tour Eiffel or the Eiffel Tower. For shopping lovers the Saint Quen Flea market is a must see. It is probably the greatest antique market in the world with thousands of stalls of furniture, books, art glass ware, jewelry, porcelain, records, bronzes, weapons….The travel in and around the city is convenient and so getting from one place to another, is the least of your worries. French cuisine is a welcome change.
There’s no better way to get to really know Paris than to walk its beautiful streets and soak in the architecture of its buildings. The history. art and culture take on new life. This is just Paris; the rest of France is still waiting…. so, where is the leisure in France?
