My Dear Raj,
You will be glad to know that our city has turned a new leaf since you left it. It has recently been given a complete change in layout.
A young and energetic administrator R.K. Chopra has taken over from that old man who was a stick in the mud. The roads have been broadened and the streets have been provided with tube lights. A general cleanliness campaign has been launched.
An imposing building for a new bus stand has been erected behind the Young Men’s Club in Sector-23. Where the heaps of garbage used to lie, a spacious park is under construction. A central school has been opened by the Government.
You will imagine to note that there are trees on both sides of the roads booming with life and laughter.
It will be a happy rather pleasant surprise when you come and see the city for yourself.
