Dear Uncle,

I hope you are hale and hearty. I would like you to come here this weekend. You will meet an old amiable gentleman—a pleasant professor—our new tenant, Dr. Prasad. His hair is streaked with grey. His eyes are dark. There are rings under them. His moustache is dark_ He sometimes licks it. He is widely read in literature. He doesn’t talk much. He has jokes to tell as professors usually have. They will split your sides. His young daughter, Monika, has liquid eyes. She keeps house and goes to J.J. Arts School in the afternoon to study Fine Arts. I have become quite friendly with both of them.

I want you to come and enter into a lively discourse or debate—call it what you like—with the professor. Mom will cook a hearty meal for you.

I hope you will come.

Yours affectionately

Sandhya
