Dear sister,
I have been receiving regular letters from you since I fell victim to a dengue epidemic in Delhi. Jiju himself paid a visit tome when I was in the hospital and he had come to Delhi on business. Your concern for my health is very touching and I thank you both for that.
You will be glad to know that now I am fully recovered by the grace of God and good wishes of near and dear ones. But a long bout of dengue fever leaves one extremely exhausted and weakened. I will be back in full health only after some time. I have again begun to study my books and going to school. It is so energy-sapping. But don’t worry. Mom and dad are all over me feeding juices, tonics, and nutrients as if they were raising me into another Dana Singh. I have also been ordered to take morning walks in the nearby park. I wish I were in Chennai to plod along Marina beach. It would have been greater fun. Maybe, soon I shall be there, as Jiju has invited me so many times if I get fed up with overfeeding of the morn. I might take refuge in your dosa, vada, and sambar. We are eagerly awaiting to have you two here in Delhi during Dussehra.
Your loving brother
