Please accept my loving greetings. I hope this will find you in sound health and cheerful spirits. In the past few days, I was awfully busy as a result of which I could not write any letter to you. I am sorry for that. On the occasion of the Holi festival, I intend to go on a tour to South India with the family for fifteen days.
No doubt, I could write a letter home for sending me money. But since my mother had already sent me two thousand rupees for purchasing a refrigerator, I don’t have the courage to ask for more money. You had promised to return me five hundred rupees by the end of December. Now, this is the first week of January. If you send me this money by money order within two or four days, it will facilitate my going. But you need not take extra trouble for this, I shall make some other arrangement.
Please convey my greetings to my sister-in-law and tender love to children.
