Dear Friend,
Krishna
Please accept my loving greetings. I felt grieved to learn about the sad demise of your father, the news which I have received just now. I had never dreamt that so soon his sudden death would end his love and affection for us. He was not of very advanced age and moreover, he was of sound health. There was no portent of such sad news.
Your father was a generous and magnanimous soul. All those who knew him held him in high esteem and all were the sharers of his graceful love. It was almost his religious duty to work for the welfare of others. All the young and the old, living in his neighbourhood, were grateful to him. Even if you look for such a sociable person with a lamp in your hand, you will not find one anywhere. His death is a great loss to society and his place cannot be taken by anyone for years together. In fact, he was a great soul.
In spite of all this, life and death are under the kind control of God. No one has any control on it whether a person is virtuous or vicious. I understand that this sudden calamity is unbearably painful for you and your family. Now there is no other option left to you except to bear it with courage and patience. May God give you enough strength to bear it! Let his soul rest in peace!
Yours affectionately
