Respected Father,
Received your money-order of Rs. 700/- I have paid off all my hostel bills. I am left with fifty rupees only. I have still full month to go. This amount can’t carry me far.
Papa, I am sorry to tell you that Rs.700/- is not a big amount. You know that things are getting costlier day by day. The school fee and mess charges costs have been increased. Books and stationery also cost more. A simple cup of tea is of Rs. 3/- these days. I hardly ever go to see a movie. Rs. 700/- is not sufficient. Please increase my monthly allowance to Rs. 1000/-.
I know that you alone are the earning member in the family. I assure you that I shall not misspend your hard earned money. I hope you will accept my request.
