Dear Father,
I hope my letter finds you in the best of health. I received your letter day before yesterday in which you have written that you are worried about my poor performance in English.
I assure you that you need not worry about that for I am taking all steps needed to improve my English. My English teacher is very helpful. She has recommended some interesting grammar books and also the “Advanced Learning Dictionary of Current English” to improve my knowledge of English. I have found them quite helpful and moreover, I have been regularly reading the daily newspaper, “The Times of India” and “India Today” to understand the current use of this langauge.
I am positive that these steps would surely help me a lot in improving my English.
Give my regards to mother and love to Priya.
