I hope this letter of mine will find you in rosy health and cheerful spirits. A long duration of time has elapsed. Neither have you paid a visit to us nor have we received any welfare letter from you. This time Mussoorie is pulsating with great hustle and bustle. How fine it would be if you could spend some time with us here!
Dear Uncle, Madhu has now attained marriageable age. We have to look for a suitable match for her. In our family you are, the eldest. You are, therefore, expected to complete this task. Some negotiations are going on with the people in Delhi. They are coming to see Madhu in July. You are, therefore, requested to make it convenient to come to Mussoorie before that. We wish you to see the boy and materialize the matter after finding out the antecedents of the boy.
