Write a letter to your daughter-in-law in reply to her letter.
Delhi.
21 January, …..
My dear daughter-in-law,
Sarita
May God bless you with eternal conjugal life! We are all well here and I hope you will also be in the same cheerful spirits. Just now I have received your letter. You have sought my permission to stay there till the marriage of Promilla. Although your absence is unbearable for all of us yet it is very essential for you to share the burden and responsibility of your mother on the occasion of your younger sister. So you may stay there till that time. Share the responsibility of your parents according to your capacity. Send Ranjana’s sweater as soon as it is ready. Winter is gaining momentum. Rakesh is busy with the preparation for the I.A.S examination. He burns the midnight oil in his studies. Somehow or the other, if he achieves success, he will have a brilliant career.
All of a sudden, Sohan, who lives in our neighborhood, fell down the roof yesterday while flying a kite. He is badly bruised. He has been admitted in Irwin Hospital.
Take full care of Anupama lest she should fall a prey to a bad company. She is very fond of reading books. Buy her some storybooks of educative value.
If you are in need of ornaments and clothes, write to me and I’ll send them with someone.
Convey our greetings to your parents and blessings to Anupama. All greet you here.
Waiting for your reply.
Your affectionate mother-in-law
Kalawati
