Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed paper, I would like to draw the attention of DESU towards the frequent breakdown of electricity in our locality, there is no time when we can be sure of electricity. It goes out sometimes at twelve noon, the morning hours or sometimes even in the mid of night.
It is summer season and the air is very hot making it impossible to stay indoors with electric fans or AC is not working. Since it is exams time the students have to suffer for they cannot continue their studies after sunset and have to remain idle due to the breakdown in electricity. Besides, taking advantage of the darkness a lot of anti-social elements also have increased their activities and accidents too occur frequently.
I believe that the load shedding in our locality is due to negligence of the zonal staff of the area because in the adjoining locality of Sunder Nagar there is absolutely no load shedding. The authorities therefore must take necessary steps to make the electricity supply regular in our locality.
