Dear Sir,
I shall feel much obliged if you kindly allow me the use of some of the valuable space in the columns of your esteemed paper to draw the attention of the Government to the urgent need opening a Government Free Hospital in Pandori, an important suburb of Jullundur which is growing rapidly, out of all proportions.
Pandori is an important locality. It is all inhabited by ex-military men who served the country and the nation all their lives. The Public and the Government owe a great debt to them.
It is a pity that there is no Government Free Hospital in the locality. The population of the locality is well high five thousand. They feel handicapped for want of a good hospital. The residents are prepared to donate a suitable piece of land and also a sum of Rs. 12,000 towards the cast of the building.
It is high time for the Government to accept this generous offer and open a free up-to-date Government Hospital as early as possible. This will satisfy a long felt public need.
