Dear Sir,
The public blaring of loud-speakers has turned into a great nuisance in our cities. Loud-speakers are there at the time of all kinds of functions-marriage, birthday parties, public meetings, religious congregations etc. The people have lost all sense of decency. They are utterly disregardful of other’s comfort. They want to instill forcibly certain shrinking sounds into the unwilling ears.
Noise-pollution is one of the banes of modem society. Loud-speakers are greatly instrumental in accentuating this problem. The students are not allowed to concentrate on their studies single-mindedly. The use of loud-speakers must be banned, particularly near the examinations.
Thank you,
Yours Truly
