Sir,
I regret to say that the use of unfair means in examinations is very common. Right from a peon to a high official, all are involved in this evil practice. Students want easy success. Teachers, to say the least, are negligent in duty. College authorities want to attract more and more students through cheap tactics.
Majority of the students do not study throughout the year. When examinations come near, they start making slips to smuggle with bam in the examination. They establish contacts with the invigilation staff. They involve their parents also. With money power and influence they achieve their ends.
No doubt these students manage to get through their examinations somehow. As for knowledge, they are blank. It is the society which ultimately stands to lose. Therefore this evil should immediately be checked.
Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,
Jasreen Kaur.
