Dear Rajesh
May God bless you with happiness! At4:30 p.m. today in the office I got the sad news of the sudden demise of my brother. This news made an assail on my mental make-up. Now we shall have to bear this loss with forbearance and courage. We are all helpless before destiny. You should not let any indolence slip in your studies and never feel the vacuum caused by the death of your father. I shall help you in every possible way. As soon as your examinations are over, I shall call you to Kolkata. Then you will remain with me. You will suffer from no trouble of any kind. Though I wish to call you here just now yet I know such a move on my part will waste this year of yours. If you are in need of anything, you should write to me without any hitch. I shall send you the thing. I have not been able to get leave on account of excessive work. Even then I shall reach you in three or four days.
