First SELF-ADHESIVE POSTAGE STAMP
The first SELF-ADHESIVE POSTAGE STAMPS were produced by the Walsall Lithographic Co. of Walsall, Staffs and issued by the Sierra Leone Post Office on 10 February 1964 in 14 denominations. They were also the first free form stamps in the world, each with a different irregular shape.
