Surprising indeed it is to note that Gulabi Bagh, with a population of over fifty thousand and an A-class Municipality, has no Government hospital. The result is that all the emergency cases have to be rushed to the civil hospital in distance Pushp Vihar. This hospital too is only in name as it fails to provide even very simple amenities that a modern hospital should.
The problem can be easily solved by the Government taking over the local Municipal Public Hospital to meet the needs of this area. This step will earn the gratitude of thousands of rich and the poor alike of this locality.
