Letter to a friend who has gone abroad
Dear Krishna,
It is nearly four months since you left for Australia and I have had no news of yours during this period.
Two months more and then you will complete your practical training. Four months is a very small period but it looks as if we have been separated for years. Your absence makes me lonely always and believe it, Krishna, I am left with no company at all.
Since you left this place, several changes have taken place. Monu has been dismissed from the college for his misbehavior. Ram Naresh got married to Sandhya only last Sunday. Sandeep has joined his father’s business and is likely to go to Hong Kong on a business trip very soon.
Professor Chaudhary has been awarded a German scholarship and leaving for United States tomorrow. Our neighbours Mr. and Mrs. Geofrey have been blessed with a lovely son. But as usual no change in me doing nothing but confining to studies only.
In case it is convenient, please get me a good camera from there.
Rest everything is fine with the grace of his Almighty.
Just drop me a line by return of post.
Yours sincerely,
