The Inconsiderate Driver
Mr. Brown had been driving around the car park for the past ten minutes. He was still unable to find a lot. Just then, he saw a man walking towards his car. He followed the man and stopped a short distance away to wait for him to leave.
When the man reversed out of the lot, Mr. Brown moved forward a little to reverse into the lot. Suddenly, another car appeared from around the corner and zoomed straight into the lot. It screeched to a stop and the driver got out.
Mr. Brown was stunned. He got out of his car immediately to confront the driver. The other driver had a smirk on his face. Mr. Brown told the driver that he should not have taken the lot. He had already been waiting a long time. However, the other driver just laughed at Mr. Brown and pointed a mocking finger at him for being too slow. Mr. Brown was getting angrier. Unable to tolerate the man’s behaviour, he rushed up and insisted that the man should shift his car. However, the man refused. He shoved Mr. Brown aside and strode off.
Mr. Brown could only stare helplessly at the other driver. Fortunately, another car was moving off. Mr. Brown hurried back to his car and drove to where the vacant lot was.
