The Crash
The train was rushing along the track at full speed. It carried passengers from the town to the countryside. It was packed with passengers going home from work.
The train was in the middle of the countryside when the passengers heard the sound of an aeroplane. The booming sound was louder than usual. Some of the passengers looked out of the windows. They were stunned to see an aeroplane flying very low. It was swaying from side to side. One of its engines was on fire. The passengers rushed to the front to tell the train driver. However, before they could do anything, there was a loud crash. The aeroplane had landed across the train track. It went up in flames. The train driver tried to stop the train but it was going too fast. The train sped forward and crashed into the burning aeroplane. There was no chance to escape. All the passengers perished in the accident.
The relatives of the passengers on the aeroplane and the train visited the crash site that evening. Rescue workers were busy excavating bodies from the wreckage. It was a horrifying sight.
