The Contest
Cheryl sat down at her computer excitedly. She could not wait to start designing her own blog. She was going to take part in a Best Blog contest that her school was holding. The winner would win the latest MP3 player.
Cheryl typed in her user ID and password. Then, she selected the template that she wanted for her blog. She decided on a simple one as she wanted to put in her own pictures. Cheryl began typing what she had been doing in the afternoon. It was her mother’s birthday and she had baked her cake. She also inserted pictures of the cake and the birthday celebration. Cheryl worked on her blog for an hour. When she was done, she sat back and admired her work. The deadline for the contest was next week. All contestants were supposed to have at least five entries. Tapping her fingers on the table, she wondered what she was going to write about in her next entry.
Cheryl logged off and browsed the other blogs to get ideas. She saw some very interesting ones. She wondered if she could use their designs in her own blog. She could not wait to work on her entry the next night.
