Sharing the Same Hobby
Pam and Ann were on their way to the park. They were going to look for some leaves again. They did the same thing every day. They shared the same hobby. Both of them liked collecting interesting leaves and putting them in a scrapbook
The girls walked to the spot where the trees were. There were different types of trees there. The leaves usually fell to the ground. Pam and Ann would take the leaves from the ground and put them in a plastic bag. The girls looked around the park for leaves. Most of the leaves looked the same. The girls looked around for unique ones.
Just then, both of them spotted an interesting-looking leaf. They had never seen such a leaf before. It had a jagged edge and it was brownish-red. Ann reached for it but before she could take it, Pam grabbed it from the ground. Ann was furious because she had seen the leaf first. She tried to snatch it back from Pam. Suddenly, there was a tearing sound. The leaf was torn!
The girls were very sorry for fighting over the leaf. They apologized to each other. Pam found another leaf and gave it to Ann. Ann gave Pam a leaf too.
