My Family
There are five members in my family. I am the middle child. We are a close-knit family.
My family and I spend a lot of time together. On weekdays, my brothers and I have lunch with our mother every day. At night, our whole family has dinner together. We often talk about our day over dinner. Although my father is tired after work, he listens attentively to what my brothers and I have to say. He will give us his advice too. On weekends, we often go out together. We have been everywhere. Our favourite place is the Cineplex. We take turns to select a movie ‘ to watch every week. My brothers and I like action movies but our parents like comedies. We also go for long nature walks together. Sometimes, we go to the Botanic Gardens. We have also been to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. Our parents are very active and energetic so they have no problems keeping up with us when we walk uphill. I have also learnt a lot about the history of Singapore from them when we visit places like Fort Canning Park.
I am looking forward to going overseas with my family next year. My father is taking everyone to Disneyland. I cannot wait to go there.
