Family Day
Last Friday, I went to my father’s office. It was ‘Family Day’ and children were allowed to visit their parents at the office. I had an interesting time there.
I left for work with my father early in the morning. When we arrived, he introduced me to his other colleagues. There were also other children there and I quickly made many new friends. My father showed me around his office. I liked the pantry as there were many tins of biscuits there! I spent the morning in my father’s office. He was very busy. His phone rang nonstop and he had many meetings to attend.
I went for lunch with my father’s colleagues and their children. We ate at a café nearby. Lunch was only one hour. We had to rush back to the office after that. In the afternoon, I played games with the other children in one of the rooms in the office. We had a lot of fun. In the late afternoon, we even had a chance to attend a meeting with our parents.
I left the office with my father at six o’clock. I realized how hard my father had to work. I promised to study hard so that I would not disappoint him.
