An Accident
Mrs. Princeton was in a taxi. She was dressed to the nines. She was wearing a long wispy gown that reached to her ankles and flared out at her sides. She was on her way to a party. Mrs. Princeton pointed at a row of shophouses and told the taxi driver to stop there.
After paying the driver, Mrs. Princeton got out of the taxi. She slammed the door shut and the driver drove off. Suddenly, she felt a sharp tug at the side. She looked down in horror when she realized that her dress was caught in the taxi. The driver was oblivious to what had happened. Mrs. Princeton heard a ripping sound and sprinted after the taxi. She did not want to destroy her beautiful gown. Mrs. Princeton reached the taxi and began knocking urgently on the boot. The driver was shocked. He saw Mrs. Princeton in the rearview mirror. He thought that she had forgotten something. He reversed the taxi before she could move out of the way. One of the rear tyres rolled over her toes and she cried out in pain.
Mrs. Princeton was sitting on the ground clutching her leg. She was in agony. Her dress was also badly torn. Tears welled in her eyes as she realized that her night was ruined.
