An Accident at the Toy Shop
Brandon gazed longingly at the boxes of toys in the toy shop. There were shelves and shelves of Spiderman toys, Spiderman was his favourite superhero
Just then, Brandon spotted a toy at the top of the stack of boxes. It was a water gun. Brandon wanted to take a closer look at it. He looked around for a sales assistant but the aisle was deserted. He noticed an empty space on the second shelf. He held on to a rack of Spiderman masks on his right. He pulled himself up onto the second shelf. He had one leg on the shelf when he heard a creaking sound. Before he could shout for help, the rack that he was holding collapsed with a resounding crash. There was nothing for Brandon to grab hold of so he lost his balance. He fell on the floor on top of the pile of masks. Several sales assistants came running from the other end of the shop. They quickly helped Brandon to his feet. They also scolded him for trying to climb up the shelf.
The manager of the shop walked over and asked Brandon what had happened. When Brandon told her, she scolded the sales assistants for not helping him. She apologized to Brandon and gave him the water gun that he wanted.
