A Talented Boy
Clarence turned the tuners on his guitar and strummed o few chords. When he was satisfied with the sound, he sat on the high stool.
Clarence smiled at the crowd that had gathered in front of him. He was playing at the Esplanade Studio. The audience waited eagerly. They could not wait for him to play. Clarence was only eight years old but he was able to play the guitar like a professional musician. The guitar looked too big for him and he looked clumsy holding it but once he started playing, everyone gasped in surprise. There was a murmur of amazement as Clarence played. His fingers strummed and picked the guitar strings easily. His fingers flew over the fretboard as he played the tune. Everyone clapped along to the music. When the song ended, there was a round of applause from everyone. Clarence started playing another song and there were cheers of approval as it was a popular song.
Clarence’s concert lasted for an hour. He played another song when the audience shouted for an encore. Everyone gave him a standing ovation. It was hard to believe that such a young boy could be so talented.
