Why do we cry?
We cry sometimes because we are sad, sometimes when we are very angry, sometimes when we are cutting onions, and sometimes when an eyelash enters our eye.
When we cry tears are released from the tear glands present beneath the eyelids of both our eyes. These tears work nonstop to keep out eyes moist and every time we blink our eyelids they give the cornea of our eyes a wet swipe. If our eyes are not kept moist we might become blind.
When a dust particle enters our eye the tears come out and flush the dust out of our eyes.
When we are sad or angry or feeling hurt these tears gush out of our eyes to help calm us down and refresh us.
I always feel calmer and relaxed after I cry; somehow the pain is less after a bout of tears.
