Uninvited Guests
It is against all norms of hospitality and courtesy to visit anywhere uninvited. Uninvited guests are never welcome. They are least respected. Everyone looks at them with scorn. They are ignored and openly ridiculed in public. People take it a pride to ridicule them. They are offered tasteless and stale food. But such uninvited guests are obstinate and shame-proof. They take all these insults and ridicules very easy. They go on laughing scornfully in the teeth of insults and shames. They wear a strange robe of shamelessness. They seem to enjoy the strange looks of the strangers. Often the hosts in such parties try to take him out of the public gaze and even request him secretly to leave but he is not ready to compromise. He says openly that he is used to such insults and there would not be any problems or a bad scene because of his presence and so he continues to be present there. It gives an impression that there are some people who are quite idle and alone and who do not have any good social contacts. So, in order to enjoy the company of many people in a party for some time, he puts on a habit of visiting parties uninvited and is naturally accustomed to these insults and ridicules. He evidently takes a strange pleasure by being a victim of such insults and by being in company of good-looking, well-dressed men and women.
As such, it is understandable that instead of insulting such people we must try to probe into their minds and try to make out the cause for such behaviour which would surely be the result of some tragic happening in their lives and should invoke a natural sympathy instead of a scorn for such people.
