Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones at others

Mankind has many flaws. This proverb means that we should be aware of this fact and stop finding faults with others. One often comes across many people every day who are so intent in criticizing other people that they forget that they also suffer from some weaknesses. In such circumstances, if someone points out their own faults they become acrimonious. It would therefore be good if people spend their valuable time in removing their own imperfections. Many of the world’s problems would find easy solutions if people stop criticizing and become more conscious of their own defects. Mankind should come to terms to the fact that no one in this world is perfect. It is not without reason that Christ said, “Judge not lest you be judged”. The thumb-rule of our existence should be lived and let live if we wish to have harmony all around us.
