The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world

The proverb explains in a very simple language that behind every successful man is a woman. The moral foundation of a person is laid down in his or her childhood. It is in this period of time when he or she learns the difference between what is right and wrong. As a mother a woman teaches her offspring the values of life. She guides them, nurses them, and moulds their character. She inspires her children to scale lofty heights in academics and professions. It can be rightfully said that a person is a replica of the dreams of the mother. Napoleon, during the course of his reign, had once said, “Give me good mothers, and I shall give a strong nation.” Shivaji could scale glorious heights because of his mother’s inspiration. He became a living legend in his lifetime thanks to his mother’s untiring guidance. Similar is the case of George Washington and Mahatama Gandhi. Every mother may not become the ruler of the country or an Industrial empire. She is however definitely the power behind the success of the ruler. It is the strength of the mother’s heart that shows the way to success.
