My School
I study in Delhi Public School, which is situated at Mathura Road in Delhi. The motto of my school is “Service Before Self’.
My school is housed in a stately building. It is made of grey stones. All 40 rooms of the school are spacious and airy and every room has proper arrangement of ventilation. The school also houses a well stocked library with books on all subjects which are informative and entertaining. All these books make reading very interesting. There is a separate science block with laboratories well equipped with scientific instruments for physics, chemistry and biology.
The administrative department of my school is very co-operative with us. They all work efficiently under the guidance of our school Principal, who is a very worthy and intelligent person. I personally think he is an institution in himself. Under his strict eyes the school atmosphere is very disciplined and at the same time it has a very friendly environment also.
The school has an assembly ground, a tennis court and a vast cricket pitch and a football ground. Apart from these facilities my school also has two swimming pools—one for the junior section and another for the seniors. My school also houses a very modern, neat and hygienic canteen, where a variety of nutritious and mouth watering eatables are always available.
My school has made its mark in all the fields be it the academics, sports, games or social activities.
I am proud to be a part of this institution.
