God Helps Those Who Help Themselves
It is a golden proverb which is applicable universally. Those who help themselves are helped by God and those who wait for God’s bounty to fall on them naturally are always disappointed. God comes to help those who earnestly go out to work. One who gives his heart and soul to his work is successful naturally and is further encouraged by the laurels he wins from his co-workers and masters. The satisfaction is the real reward bestowed upon him by the almighty God.
A man who is by nature a hard worker is bound to succeed in life. His permanent habit of self-help stands him in good stead always. He outshines everywhere. He becomes an ideal for others. Besides the material wealth he earns the wealth of good-will and respect from others. He is an expert in his work. His hand is the God’s hand. He has the Gods blessings. He has earned a name for himself. He earns lot of self-confidence. He does not see the face of failure in the worst of his misfortunes.
God always comes to help his devotee in distress. Who is a time devotee? One who is a sincere worker one who does his work honestly and whose conscience is clear who does never think of doing bad to anyone. One who has the muscles and nerves of steel but whose heart bleeds at the pain of others. He is the real devotee. God is always his helper. He never falls off in the race of life. He goes on winning each and every milestone of life quite comfortably and finally reaches the goal of his ambition.
The essence of the proverb is : Gird up your loins and the victory is yours; Success kisses your feet.
