For the Love of Nature
God created the beautiful earth,
To the trees and flowers gave birth
The life-giving rain he sent down
The mountain he covered with a snowy crown!
Nature is the most precious gift given to mankind and it is our duty to save it. But man is destroying it for his own selfish ends. He is cutting down the trees, killing wildlife, and polluting the air with poisonous gases. Many fish have perished, the flowers have wilted, and bright, colourful butterflies can hardly be seen any more. We are steadily moving towards the path of destruction.
Imagine a world where there will be no forests, only concrete jungles; no water, only acid rain; no birds and animals, only robots, and no fresh air, only smoke-filled clouds. For the love of nature, we have to preserve it and save our planet from being wiped out. Only when we succeed in doing this can we rejoice once again in the glory of the sunlight falling on mountain peaks, the rushing waters of melting glaciers, the fertile river banks, and the fragrance of rose petals.
