Blessings of Peace
Peace brings with it the boon of growth, happiness, and development. While war and strife bring with it unhappiness, death, destruction, and poverty If asked to choose between the two, each of us will unanimously agree to peace and happiness. This is so because no one likes to see dissolute fields strew with dead bodies of soldiers and civilians, children and infirm. Burnt-down houses and ramshackle hospitals are not our ideas of honor. Each one of us wishes to be left in peace. We want that our children may study in the academic calm of our schools and colleges. Artists want to pursue their craft with devotion and a serene mind. These are the reasons why long periods of harmony and peace in the annals of our past are termed as the golden period. It is because they brought peace to the nation, that Ashoka, Chandragupta are remembered by one and all. Peace paves the way to industrial growth. It encourages mankind to come up with new inventions. It gives scope to the scientist to explore the unknown mysteries of the universe. Peace is a precious commodity and therefore should be protected with all our ability.
