The Greedy Dog
A hungry dog found a piece of meat. He took it in his mouth and ran towards his shelter. On the way he was crossing a bridge over a stream. While crossing the bridge he saw his own reflection in the crystal clear water. He thought that there was another dog with a piece of meat. He thought that it would be wonderful if he got that piece of meat also. He would eat to his heart fill. He harked loudly to scare the other dog. The moment he opened his mouth to bark, his own piece of meat fell in the stream. This way he lost what was in his own possession. He could do nothing to retrieve the piece of meat eat which had fallen into the stream. He remained hungry due to his own greed and selfishness.
Moral: Greediness is a curse.
