Mysterious Are the Ways of God
In the day of creation, the whole world was one huge garden of flowers. The Lord, however, called man to him and gave him this warning:
‘Beware; every time you do something wrong, a grain of sand will fall on the earth.’
But mankind paid no attention to this warning at all. ‘What harm could a few grains of sand do?
They continued to do wicked things, and thus, little by little, the world has been invaded by the rivers and the seas of sand, which form the great deserts.
God’s mill grinds slowly but surely.
