Work if you can. Do not beg
Merchant Babulal opened the door to go to his shop. He saw a poor man sweeping the outside staircase. Babulal asked the man, “Why are you doing this?” The poor man replied, “Sir, I am not a beggar. I am very hungry. So please give me some food for my work,” and showed an empty bowl towards Babulal. Babulal was my impressed with the poor man and gave him not only food but also a job in his shop.
Moral: Work if you can. Do not beg.
