Wealth and power with munificence and selflessness is a rare thing
Raghav Pratap Singh was a very kind prince of the state. He loved the people to such an extent that he himself would go to the villages and helped the villagers. Sometimes he would help in ploughing a field, sometimes he would help in milking someone’s cow. In due course of time, he came to be enthroned as the king of the state. The commoners were sad thinking that the king would not come to their help. But the king next day, as usual, reached a village and knocked at a door. A girl opened the door and spoke loudly, “Mother, the milkman has come. Bring the bucket to have the cow milked.” All the people of the state were glad to see the king so kind-hearted.
Moral: Wealth and power with munificence and selflessness is a rare thing.
