Money should be spent thriftily
Roopa worked in a limited company. It was conventional in the company to arrange a party on every Saturday. All the employees had to give contributions for the party. The manager of the company also took a keen interest in such parties. Roopa never attended these parties. One day, when all the employees were attending such a party in the manager’s room, the manager called for Roopa there. He asked her, “Why don’t you attend these parties? It is just for enjoyment.” Roopa replied, “It is not enjoyment for me but wastage of money. I would rather give money to the poor children than spend money on these worthless parties.”
Moral: Money should be spent thriftily.
