One day some cocks and hens were searching for grains for themselves as their master was out for some work. Their master had himself allowed them to go out to look for food. They searched for grains everywhere but their luck did not favour them. Everyone started returning back to their coops, but Monu the cock didn’t lose hope. While searching, Monu found a gem. He said to himself, “Wish it could be a grain! What to do with this gem? It is of no use to me!”
