Don’t behave like an animal
Romi’s father returned home limping. On being asked by Romi, her father told her that while returning from the office he was bitten by a dog. Romi ran inside and came back with cotton and Dettol. While applying Dettol on the wound, she told her father, “You could have stoned that dog.” Father replied, “Dear, it is the nature of a dog to bite. I am a human being, and a human being should not behave like animals.” Romi understood what her father meant to say and said to him, “Father, thanks for making me understand the duty of a human being.”
Moral: As human beings, we are not supposed to behave like animals.
