Don’t be overconfident
Dharam Singh and Karam Singh worked for the Indian army and were good rock climbers. But their nature didn’t match. Dharam Singh thought very highly of himself, but Karam Singh was a modest and kind person. One day, both the friends went for rock-climbing. After some efforts, the two friends succeeded in reaching the top of a hill. As Dharam Singh had reached earlier, he said, “Karam, look at me. I am so fast. You should learn some lessons from me.” While saying so, he was standing carelessly. Suddenly, he slipped and fell down. He escaped death, but his legs, spine, and hands had got seriously injured.
Moral: Don’t be overconfident.
