Prince Jorawar Singh was the most eligible bachelor of his kingdom. He had announced that he would marry the girl who would give the correct answer to his single question. Many princesses and girls tried but all in vain. One day, a beautiful girl named Chanchal came to the court. The prince was fascinated to see her and asked, “Why has God given us two ears and one tongue, one mouth and two hands?” Chanchal replied, “So that we should listen much and speak little, do much work and eat less.” The prince was satisfied with the answer and married her.
