Be patient and understanding with insane people
A doctor of a mental asylum was on round. In one of the rooms, he saw a patient sitting on the floor. He was trying to sew two planks of wood with needle and thread. Another patient was hanging from the ceiling. The doctor asked the patient sitting on the floor, “What is this going on?” “Can’t you see I am sewing the planks?” said the patient. “And what is he doing there on the ceiling?” asked the doctor. “He thinks he is a bulb,” said the patient. “Ask him to come down. He may fall down,” said the doctor. “Then how will I sew in darkness?” The doctor held his head in distress.
Moral: Be patient and understanding with insane people.
