Always use your brain
A clever smuggler reached the border with some donkeys loaded with straw. The officer on duty became suspicious. The smuggler was checked thoroughly but nothing wrong was found with him. The officer said to him, “I know you are a smuggler. I will catch you one day.” After that day, the smuggler started passing from there every day with his donkeys. He was checked daily, but nothing wrong was ever found with him.
One day, after the officer had retired, the smuggler met him. The officer asked him, “At least now tell me what did you use to smuggle every day?” “Donkeys,” was the reply of the smuggler. The officer cursed himself for his failure to use his brain.
Moral: Always use your brain.
