Why I Like My City
Delhi is my city. I live in Ashok Vihar. Some people consider it a privilege to live in Delhi. It is the capital of largest democracy of the world. It is an ancient city and reminds us of the past history of India. It is the centre of culture, trade and commerce. It is called the city of yesterday, today and to-morrow. Delhi is one of the most modern and beautiful cities of the world. It has tall buildings, shopping centres, theatres and luxury hotels. It is a centre of attraction for tourists from every part of the world. Delhi is called the city of gardens, parks and fountains. It is also a big centre of education and learning. It offers good opportunities for recognition of merit. It offers enormous opportunities of employment and business. For all these and many other reasons, I like my city — Delhi.
