Travelling Woes
People travelling long distances frequently have to decide whether they would prefer to go by land, sea or air. Hardly anyone can enjoy sitting in a train for more than a few hours. Train compartments get cramped and stuffy. The monotonous rhythm of the wheels lulls you to sleep in snatches, but at night when you can rarely manage to do so. Long car journeys are less pleasant. It’s impossible to read and very often the greater part of the journey is spent on narrow bumpy roads with traffic.
Sea trips offer a great variety of comforts like spacious decks, games, swimming, good food and interesting people to meet. If the weather is not clam you may be sea- sick and also one third of your holiday is spent travelling.
Aeroplanes are expensive form of transport. Yet in a few hours you will arrive at your destination fresh and uncrumpled. You needn’t have to recover over the next few days from a long arduous journey.
